Presbyterians began worshiping in the Greensboro area in the 1780s but the first church building was erected in 1860.  After a fire in 1869, the current structure was replaced in 1871 -- with monetary assistance from the Union Point congregation.  The tower bells still calls members to worship each Sunday morning: at 9:45 a.m. for church school and at 11:00 a.m. for worship.
