The First Presbyterian Church of Union Point began its history of service to the community in 1860 and was chartered in 1872 with 19 members.  The stained glass windows are considered some of the best example of "turn-of-the-century" craftsmanship in the Southeast.  The congregation gathers for Christian Education at 10:00 a.m. and for worship each Sunday at 11:15 a.m.
